No, no. I didn’t run away from home again.
I last did that when I was 18 and I don’t have the intention to do it again either.
Things are perfect the way they are.
I’m just gonna blog about the places I went to, sans the Mr, who has been doing overtime.
I miss him loads.
Had another weekly meet-up at Al-Majlis with the girls after having drinks with them at Kampong Glam Cafe. I love these non-alcoholic evenings.

Arjuna Satria and Solid Zul came afterward to join me, NiS, GABBY and Kiken to have their dinner.
I can understand why they like coming over. Even I don’t get sick of the Ba’mia (lamb stew served with bread), ever.

Solid Zul, GABBY and Arjuna Satria had the Feta Cheese Omelette, with Mint tea.
A fantastic combination.

Kiken and Nis had the Chicken Steak..

My favourite dish on the menu, Ba’mia..

I really enjoy evenings with this bunch of friends. We sit down and talk about our oh-so-different jobs and we laugh over incidents we share with the rest..
Then we share our woes or current thoughts and get opinion..
Of course, nothing TOO personal, there’s gotta be some limits!
Then I spent time with the beloved Mr (who finally has an off day!) over the weekend.
We spent it at Sentosa, where he grew up.
He showed me around the wax museum in Images of Singapore. The last time I really went about in Sentosa was when I was probably 12. I did go to the beach about two years back with Adlina and Azzura, but my horrifying experience on the SkyRide blocked everything out.

So anyway,
here’s some pictures from inside the wax museum (of sorts).

No, no, this is me while I’m still OUTSIDE the museum.
I really like this place because it shows the timeline of Singapore’s rise, from the time it was discovered as a fishing village back in 1819 by Sir Stamford Raffles, then developed into a bustling port by Sir William Farquhar, the hard work and commitment of the early settlers and merchants before the independence of Singapore and what it is today..

Back then, $10 must have been a bloody lot. Hmmm..

Wax figurines depicting a traditional Malay wedding, awaiting the groom..
Anyway, I nearly died of a heart attack when I realized that some of the wax figures could move.
Especially during this picture here.
The Mr found it hilarious I started screaming when this two figurines in this picture suddenly moved and turned towards me.

Darn it.
And there were actually some real actors amidst the figurines.

Can you blame me?
Some of the figurines are really life-like!

And some of them even move their eyes.
Fucking creepy ok!
(Pardon my French.)
Maybe the Mr wants me to get another stroke and die.
Do you?! Do you?!
The wax museum really reminds me of this old movie House of Wax.
No, not the Paris Hilton remake. That’s crap.
Anyway, thank you for your time, honey.
I love you. Really.

THAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT much.
